Hello! I’m Tiffany Young, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas and the owner of Trusted Hope Counseling, PLLC in Keller, Texas.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my practice. I know that reaching out for counseling can be a difficult step, and I’m honored that you’re considering allowing me to be part of your journey.
My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t one I had planned. Looking back, I can clearly see how God used life’s experiences to prepare me for this calling. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University), I returned to North Texas and began raising my two young nephews. As they grew older, they were both diagnosed with autism, and my life changed in ways I never expected.
Walking alongside them opened my eyes to the unique joys and challenges that individuals with autism and their families experience every day. While searching for resources, I often encountered professionals who had limited experience working with autistic individuals, particularly adolescents and adults.

I also witnessed firsthand how difficult it was to find services that addressed the emotional, relational, and mental health needs of adults on the autism spectrum.
Those experiences ignited a passion that ultimately led me into the counseling profession.
Today, one of my greatest passions is serving adults on the autism spectrum while also supporting the parents, caregivers, spouses, and family members who love them. Although much of my professional experience centers around autism, my heart extends to individuals and families navigating all types of special needs. I believe every person possesses unique strengths, purpose, and value. Rather than focusing solely on limitations, I strive to help clients recognize their abilities, build confidence, and discover hope for the future.
In addition to my personal experience, I have had the privilege of serving individuals with special needs in a variety of professional settings. My background includes working as a substitute teacher, special education paraprofessional, one-on-one caregiver for a nonverbal young woman with autism, and program manager for a day habilitation program serving adults with developmental disabilities.
My clinical career has also provided extensive experience working in residential treatment, where I facilitated individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents on the autism spectrum experiencing significant behavioral and emotional challenges. During that time, I developed valuable experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, family systems, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
As my career continued, I discovered another area that deeply resonates with me—walking alongside women as they navigate life’s transitions. Whether facing anxiety, relationship struggles, grief, identity questions, life changes, or overwhelming seasons, I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and encouraging environment where healing and growth can take place.
For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling. I believe faith can be a powerful source of hope and healing, and I enjoy thoughtfully integrating biblical principles into the counseling process when it aligns with a client’s beliefs and treatment goals. My approach is always respectful, allowing each client to determine the role that faith will play in our work together.
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that every person’s story matters, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they pursue healing, growth, and lasting hope.
Wherever you are in your journey, you don’t have to face it alone. I would be honored to walk with you as we work toward the life you desire.
Let’s find your hope together.
